 WPOE-PIS001-A64 uses the power adapter that comes with your network device to deliver PoE power and data to Ethernet devices. The splitter has a single PoE Ethernet port, which can receive power and data from a PoE switch/hub. It splits that into a single plug to deliver power and an RJ-45 plug to deliver data.

To achieve best performance of a Wireless LAN, the location of Access Point (AP) must be carefully chosen. In most cases, finding a power supply for AP is a common obstacle. Power over Ethernet (PoE) technology provides the ideal power solution to help overcome these obstacles. In Ethernet, four pairs of C5 or C5E twisted pairs are used as the medium for transmission.
